As per the regulations of the government of the Republic of China, receipts without Unified Invoices can be used for reimbursement and offset purposes, just like Unified Invoices. Buyers can rest assured about this. In anticipation of the future, professional-use menus will be sold in small quantities, and the individual receipt amount will not exceed the limit set by the tax authorities of the Republic of China, which is TWD$5,000. If buyers cannot accept receipt certificates, there is no need to waste time discussing it. It is recommended to seek alternative solutions as soon as possible.

Exemption from the unified invoice system query in accordance with the competent regulations of the Ministry of Finance

  1. Quotation Form
    After you have completed the quotation form via email, please refrain from making any immediate remittance or transfer. We will provide you with an official quotation within 36 hours.
  2. Official Quotation
    Upon receiving the official quotation, we require your confirmation in response. The subsequent formal payment transaction can be conducted at your convenience. (Some materials are limited or subject to futures contracts. Raw material prices may fluctuate on a weekly basis, and the validity period of the quotation is 3 days.)
  3. Transaction Confirmation
    Once we receive your transaction confirmation notice, starting from the day after the transaction, excluding national holidays (which will be postponed), it may take approximately 15 to 30 working days or more for pre-ordered or customized products to be delivered (sample production will add an additional 5 to 7 working days). The detailed delivery date will primarily be indicated in the quotation form. Buyers must be fully aware of their own needs and arrangements to avoid delays in their activities. PS: Why does it take so long? Handmade books, as the name suggests, are purely handcrafted. The founder, also the author, has been working on this craft since the age of 16 and is now approaching old age. The available time for service is gradually becoming limited, and a successor has not been found yet. Letting nature take its course is also a way to accept fate.
  4. Guaranteed Delivery Date
    In order to provide accurate and efficient delivery service while maintaining quality, we have implemented a standardized approach to the entire transaction process, allowing buyers to have better control over the confirmation of delivery dates. Please do not let emergencies disrupt the process. To ensure the consumer rights of buyers, the actual delivery date stated on the digital quotation form will be the primary reference. In case of overdue delivery for full prepayment, a daily penalty of 0.1% or compensation in the form of equivalent-value goods will be provided to cover the buyer’s losses (buyers can request special mention of the delivery date). However, a 50% deposit does not incur any penalties for delays. Please refer to Section 13 for exceptions and additional restrictions.
  5. Operation Period
    If there are any issues during the operation period, please inform our shop to temporarily suspend or halt the operation based on the order details. In the event of any changes or modifications to the contents during the operation period, please extend the working days accordingly and compensate for any potential losses that may occur.
  6. Founder: Genuine and Talented Cultural Artistic Creative Worker
    MEMU™ was founded by a cultural and artistic creative worker. We offer artistic services to meet the unique interests and competitive needs of buyers. We do not accept any transactions involving bills or promissory notes. Please take the time to understand our policies before considering cooperation to avoid any inconvenience.
  7. Transaction Options
    ● For customers opting for full prepayment, the production time required is 15-30 working days or more, starting from the day after the transaction confirmation. National holidays will be postponed. In case of overdue delivery, a daily penalty of 0.1% or compensation in the form of equivalent-value goods will be provided to cover the buyer’s losses.
    ● For customers opting for a 50% deposit, the production time required is 30 working days or more, starting from the day after the transaction confirmation. National holidays will be postponed. No compensation for delays will be provided. After completion, the buyer will be notified via email to confirm a convenient shipping date. The remaining payment will be collected through postal or financial payment collection services, which buyers are encouraged to utilize. This service is not available for international buyers.
    ● Special permission schemes require mutual trust and tolerance between the buyer and seller to proceed:Subject: 50% deposit with phased shipments according to each quarter’s quantity Explanation: Sign a contract confirming the quantity and material options, and complete a 50% deposit for material preparation. Conduct menu sample production and ship in phases according to the agreed dates for each quarter, with payment requested based on the shipment quantity. Method: The special permission scheme is divided into two parts: 50% for material preparation and 50% for labor costs. The buyer must prepay for the required materials, with photographic documentation as proof. After each batch of finished products is delivered, the buyer will apply for payment for the corresponding labor costs within the agreed period and make the payment accordingly. The special permission scheme does not charge an additional 25% difference, and both parties must establish a memorandum of understanding without penalties or default fines. Futures always carry risks, so please carefully consider your investments.
  8. Sampling by Waiving the Original
    Regarding sampling by waiving the original: Some customers may not understand the purpose of sampling. If you wish to waive the original for sampling, please download and sign the authorization form. Sampling by waiving the original is a one-time service. The formal sampling incurs a separate charge of USD$300, which is not subject to this limitation and does not require the signing of an authorization form. Please refer to the Sampling Instructions in the menu for more details.
  9. Communication and Discussion
    Customers are advised to understand their own needs before placing an order. For any questions or design ideas you may have, please make use of various communication methods. We have a display space and welcome you to make an appointment for a visit or face-to-face discussion. Loaning of our works is subject to a security deposit, which will be refunded upon complete return. The loaned works must be properly stored and maintained. Any damages will be compensated at the market price, and the security deposit will be forfeited. The works must still be returned in their entirety. To ensure the quality of our works and services, we do not offer returns or exchanges for customer-provided materials, printing, or packaging series. Buyers should confirm their needs before making a decision. We are not responsible for any errors in verbal orders.
  10. Urgent Order Processing
    Urgent handling surcharge and defining what qualifies as an urgent matter are being addressed. We have a brand new definition in place.
    When a buyer requests delivery within 3 days, it will be considered as an extremely urgent matter. Delivery within 5 days will be classified as a highly urgent matter. If the requested delivery timeframe is within 7 days, it will be considered urgent, and we will evaluate whether our business operations can accommodate it before confirming.
    ● For requests of delivery within 3 days, it will be considered an “extremely urgent” order, and the total cost will be increased by 300%.
    ● For requests of delivery within 5 days, it will be considered a “special urgent” order, and the total cost will be increased by 200%.
    ● For requests of delivery within 7 days, it will be considered an “urgent” order, and the total cost will be increased by 100%.
    Urgent order processing requires full prepayment and is subject to a daily penalty of 0.1% for any delays. The seller reserves the right to determine whether they can accommodate the request.
  11. Guarantee of Fresh and Brand-New Products
    When you receive the goods, please confirm if they are brand new. If you purchased the wrong product or wish to initiate a return or exchange unconditionally, please contact us within seven days of receiving the goods, and we will arrange for home pickup. Please ensure that the returned goods are properly packaged and provide them to the courier at the agreed time. Please keep the delivery receipt. Since the return or exchange is not due to our error, the customer will be responsible for the round-trip shipping costs and compensation for any losses, based on the shipping quote at that time. Please pay special attention to this.
  12. Note Explanation
    The purchase terms are designed to protect the rights and interests of both buyers and sellers. Clientele Handmade Menu Shop (referred to as “the shop”) produces over a thousand different menu styles, making it impossible to stock or predict customer demands in advance. Therefore, each menu is exclusive and unique. This is different from other stores or shops where products are readily available. Additionally, each customer has different requirements, and there are not many repetitive products. Hence, there are certain regulations and limitations in place. The various standard specifications offered by the shop are universally applicable and should be utilized. Many non-standard specifications found in the market are usually the result of leftover materials or lack of understanding, which can lead to cost inefficiencies for the buyers. The shop aims to avoid such situations unless specifically requested by the customer. The shop’s menus are all professionally designed for specific use and include page protectors. They are not distributed through any other channels and are exclusively produced and sold by the MEMU brand. MEMU brand products can be found worldwide, ensuring the highest quality of service.
  13. Additional Restrictions
    ● Customers should take note of the required time for postal and delivery services. The shop cannot guarantee delivery time discrepancies and will use the date of dispatch from the post office as the basis for actual shipping (based on the rubber stamp). Cash on delivery requires the buyer to pay the handling fee (overseas shipping costs must be paid by the buyer, with a maximum subsidy of USD$33 or less, which is below 5% of the total amount). In 2022, a new Happy Shopping Package was introduced, offering free worldwide shipping. Please make good use of this service.
    ● n the event of abnormal weather conditions, natural disasters, human-made disasters, contagious diseases, or other special circumstances declared by the country, resulting in a delay in delivery, the automatic compensation plan for overdue delivery will be terminated, and a new delivery date will be set. The termination of the compensation plan also applies when the air humidity exceeds 95% as announced by the Meteorological Bureau.
