Kaleido 客來多 transliteration：Kela Duo Handcrafted Menu Shop. In the 1990s, it formed numerous partnerships with well-known gourmet magazines and was responsible solely for menu production. While those magazines have succumbed to changing times and ceased publication for many years, our shop’s business remains unaffected. Over several decades, Chinese-made foreign menu books, lacking SGS safety certification, have flooded the market, often sold at low prices with no taxes, deceiving buyers into thinking they are of Japanese origin merely due to the presence of Japanese characters. In reality, this has disrupted the global economic environment, impacting the restaurant industry and posing risks to diners’ hygiene and food safety. If this continues, Taiwan’s menu creation may become legendary. As the only dedicated menu creation shop in Asia, we strive to carry forward the spirit of handcrafted excellence, continuously enhancing our craftsmanship and techniques. Therefore, we hereby apply to the Republic of China for an exemption from using unified invoices to adapt to the changing times.

In preparation for the future, handcrafted menus will be sold in limited quantities. The individual receipt amount shall not exceed the Republic of China tax authorities’ specified limit of TWD$5,000. If buyers cannot accept receipt certificates, there is no need to waste time discussing the matter. Please seek alternative solutions promptly.
