Bright / Matte PVC Sleeve

The glossy/matte PVC inner page sleeve is a protective material specifically designed for menu book inner pages. It allows single-sided color printed paper to be inserted into the sleeve, preventing water stains or other damages to the menu book pages. It is made of PVC and is available in two different surface finishes: glossy and matte. The glossy surface appears smooth and shiny, while the matte surface is softer and has a matte texture.

This inner page sleeve comes in five different sizes: long A3, A4, long A4, small A4, and long small A4. You can choose the appropriate size according to your needs. When using, simply insert the document’s front and back into the sleeve. Daily cleaning is also straightforward, requiring only a clean cloth for wiping. If alcohol is needed for cleaning, spray a moderate amount onto a clean cloth and use it to wipe. Avoid applying excessive alcohol or cleaning agents directly on the inner page sleeve to prevent the release of harmful substances like bisphenol A that may affect subsequent use.

The white powder in the glossy PVC inner page sleeve is talcum powder. Do not intentionally remove it as it will not damage the color print output quality or affect color performance. Talcum powder prevents the glossy PVC from becoming oily due to compression, preventing adhesion between inner page sleeves.

When printing inner pages using a laser printer, it is essential to use original manufacturer’s specialized paper and toner. The use of substitute toners or so-called eco-friendly toners is strictly prohibited. These third-party toners have different melting temperatures compared to original toners, resulting in varying effects when used with different brands and equipment. The use of third-party toners can cause static recombination between the PVC inner page sleeve and the paper surface, leading to adhesion, which is not covered by warranty. Inkjet printers do not have these issues. They are non-toxic, environmentally friendly, do not generate PM2.5, and are cost-effective. We highly recommend restaurants to use inkjet printers.

When using a laser printer to print inner pages, it is essential to use the specialized paper and toner specified by the original manufacturer. Do not use substitute toners or products labeled as eco-friendly toners. The white powder ink is talcum powder, which is normal.

Apologies for any confusion. You are correct. The white powder in the glossy PVC inner page sleeve is talcum powder, and it should not be intentionally removed. Talcum powder serves the purpose of preventing the glossy PVC from becoming oily when subjected to compression, thereby avoiding adhesion between the inner page sleeves. This talcum powder is not intended to prevent adhesion between the carbon toner on the paper surface printed by a copier and the inner page sleeve due to surface static recombination. Talcum powder does not damage the quality of color print output nor affect the color performance of printing.

Matte Inner Page Sleeve

The matte inner page sleeve has a transparency of 90%. Its surface has a soft and matte texture. However, it is not suitable for designs with dark backgrounds or high-color graphics as the matte finish reduces color saturation by 10% and decreases the saturation of dark colors by 10%. The matte inner page sleeve is more suitable for designs that focus on text and readability.

Standard Specifications

The standard specifications of the inner page sleeves include five different sizes to choose from: Long Small A4, Long A4, Small A4, A4, and Long A3. Each size is further divided into options for double-fold and quadruple-fold binding. Additionally, the double-fold inner page sleeves are available in two variants: Type A and Type B. Type A features a closed opening, while Type B has an open opening. The quadruple-fold inner page sleeves come in two variants: side-opening and top-opening. Double-Fold Inner Page

There are two variants of the double-fold inner page sleeves: Type A and Type B.

The top-opening inner page sleeve supports designs that span across multiple pages and is suitable for users with a moderate number of pages. It is recommended to limit it to three pages within the sleeve for optimal usability. For thicker pages, it is advised to use a two-page sleeve to ensure easy page flipping.

Design layouts that span across multiple pages or have continuous page designs.

The top-opening inner page sleeve supports designs that span across multiple pages or have continuous page designs. It requires a certain level of design skills to execute successfully, and it may not be achievable for everyone. It is advisable to avoid attempting it if you are not confident in your design abilities to avoid unnecessary complications.

Generate pages and page numbers with pictures

No matter how good your math skills are, in real life, a "page" does not necessarily refer to a single sheet of paper. The store explains through illustrations, the store explains through pages, not by the number of pages.
PS. Binding a single sheet of paper can result in 16 pages, 32 pages, or even 64 pages.

Our custom menus are one-of-a-kind and can be tailored to the buyer’s preferences. For room service menus, we intentionally make them thick and sturdy to prevent them from being taken away, but we can also make them small and thin based on the buyer’s needs. The materials used for the inside and outside of the menu can be mixed and matched to provide a wide range of options. We recommend using a four-hole metal clip for quick and easy replacement of the pages during events.

We support a variety of fine art papers for the inner pages.

The inner pages of this design utilize our proprietary technology, which includes cardboard pages, and is one of our recommended options. The entire series features pages that can be easily added, removed, or replaced, and we support the purchase of various types of fine art paper, waterproof paper, cardboard pages, and magazine paper for the inner pages. If you prefer not to use PVC materials, the aforementioned materials can be purchased separately for use as inner pages. However, only our shop’s products feature inner pages that are easy to flip, durable, without rebounding, and without cracking or splitting along the spine. Cardboard inner pages

This image shows a close-up comparison of the 1mm thick side-sealed edge of a cardboard inner page. The area circled in red is where the inner page is easily touched, so it has been folded and sealed to prevent the pages from splitting, effectively extending the lifespan of the inner pages. Side-sealed cardboard inner pages are one of the original and recommended options for inner pages offered by our store.

General Sika paper inner page

This image shows a close-up comparison of the side edge of a commonly used 220-pound thickness cultural paper. The red circle indicates the area where the edge is most likely to be touched and also the easiest to fork. Therefore, our shop has applied a technique to round the edges slightly to reduce the frequency of forking, but it will eventually still fork.
