The E-shaped wine list box is equipped with a double-fold glossy/matte soft inner page sleeves.

Unexpectedly durable. During the initial meeting to establish a new souvenir store, the buyer presented design specifications and usage requirements which were mutually agreed upon and implemented as shown in the attached image. Due to the possibility of irregularities in the binding of the pages with the E-shaped casing, which could affect visual presentation, a black leather was used to decorate the book spine. After two years of use, the buyer wanted to make a new menu and chose a functional fabric, which is still in normal use to this day in 2023. What was originally intended to be used for only six months has unexpectedly endured for two years, and this project is being revisited two years later.

U-shaped document rod closure with double 180 lb ivory paper interior pages

Document binding is one of the practical and quick options for binding, and it is the simplest and least technically demanding among the loose-leaf bindings. For example, using 180-pound ivory paper, it can hold about 1 to 10 sheets of paper, while using 70-pound simulated paper from convenience stores, it can hold about 1 to 40 sheets of paper.

The 180-pound double coated paper used for the inner pages has been treated with matte P coating for protection. The water-based ink used is non-toxic and odorless, and is certified for food and various environmental standards. Compared to oil-based ink, the colors are more vibrant. To emphasize a healthy living environment, it is recommended to choose water-based ink for color printing of inner pages. This is a double-page layout of 180-pound paper, printed in color using water-based ink, and bound with black document screws. The paper can be additionally K-line pressed and soft cut for easier page turning.

U-shaped imitation E-shaped box with double 180 lb ivory paper inner pages

Due to the fact that the E-type box will expose the side-bound inner pages, there may be irregularities in the binding of the E-type box. A book spine decoration can be added as shown in Figure 1, or the U-type binding can be used as an E-type binding.

The internal pages are made of 180-pound double-coated paper with a top matte P coating. Water-based ink is used for printing, which is non-toxic and odorless, meets various food and environmental protection certifications, and has more vivid colors than oil-based ink. To emphasize a healthy living environment, it is recommended to choose water-based ink for color printing of the internal pages. The internal pages are of 2-fold and 180-pound weight, and are bound with hemp cord perforation for loose-leaf binding. The paper can be additionally processed with K-line pressure cutting for better page turning experience.

The order was received during the start-up phase in Ximending, Taipei, with only basic knowledge of graphic design and printing technology at that time.

The inner pages are made of 180-pound double copper paper with a matte P film. The water-based ink used is non-toxic and odorless, and has passed various food and environmental certifications. Compared to oil-based ink, the colors are more vibrant. To prioritize a healthy living environment, it is recommended to choose water-based ink for color printing of the inner pages. This is a four-fold 180-pound inner page, printed with water-based ink, and fixed with glue binding (not loose-leaf, without expandability). The four-fold inner pages do not require K-line suppression processing and are easy to flip.

The edges of the paper are prone to splitting, but the flat rope and edge-sewn corner protection can effectively solve the problem and extend the life cycle of the paper. It can be used in conjunction with soft inner page sleeves in gloss or matte finish.

The edges of the paper are prone to splitting, and the edge-wrapping flat-seaming corner protection can completely solve the problem of paper splitting, effectively extending the service life of the paper.

Color Printing Film Options

Diamond protective film

The Qiyuandi protective film and Diamond protective film are developed with surface particle patterns to prevent slipping, abrasion resistance, UV resistance, and water repellent properties. The thickness of the Diamond protective film is ten times that of the general matte P film. When applied to color printed packaging, it can increase durability, prevent reflection of images, and enhance the vividness of the images with the surface particle pattern, creating a more three-dimensional effect.

Golden ㄟ protective film

This belongs to one of the very high-priced types of protective film. The black base will turn into obsidian black, the gray base will turn into silver, the white base will turn into pearl, and the yellow base will turn into gold.

Common bright P film for general printing

The image shows a commonly used glossy P film in printing. For matte P film, please refer to the previous image numbered iPrint6 as an example. Glossy/matte P film is only a thin layer and is suitable for use in the interior pages. If budget is a concern, it can be skipped. However, if the budget allows, it is recommended to choose diamond film for the box cover and glossy/matte P film for the interior pages.

Our custom menus are one-of-a-kind and can be tailored to the buyer’s preferences. For room service menus, we intentionally make them thick and sturdy to prevent them from being taken away, but we can also make them small and thin based on the buyer’s needs. The materials used for the inside and outside of the menu can be mixed and matched to provide a wide range of options. We recommend using a four-hole metal clip for quick and easy replacement of the pages during events.

We support a variety of fine art papers for the inner pages.

The inner pages of this design utilize our proprietary technology, which includes cardboard pages, and is one of our recommended options. The entire series features pages that can be easily added, removed, or replaced, and we support the purchase of various types of fine art paper, waterproof paper, cardboard pages, and magazine paper for the inner pages. If you prefer not to use PVC materials, the aforementioned materials can be purchased separately for use as inner pages. However, only our shop’s products feature inner pages that are easy to flip, durable, without rebounding, and without cracking or splitting along the spine. Cardboard inner pages

This image shows a close-up comparison of the 1mm thick side-sealed edge of a cardboard inner page. The area circled in red is where the inner page is easily touched, so it has been folded and sealed to prevent the pages from splitting, effectively extending the lifespan of the inner pages. Side-sealed cardboard inner pages are one of the original and recommended options for inner pages offered by our store.

General Sika paper inner page

This image shows a close-up comparison of the side edge of a commonly used 220-pound thickness cultural paper. The red circle indicates the area where the edge is most likely to be touched and also the easiest to fork. Therefore, our shop has applied a technique to round the edges slightly to reduce the frequency of forking, but it will eventually still fork.
